You would not believe the amount of people that see that I have two boys and say something along the lines of "You need to have a 3rd so you can get that girl." This annoys me. Why do people assume your family is incomplete if you don't have a child of each gender? While a girl would probably be nice, I am so happy with my two boys. Being a boy mom is even better and more fun than I thought it would be. I've always been a tom-boy at heart so this is perfect for me. I thought about this as Price started feeling better on Friday and we ended up doing this...
That's right, a good, old fashioned sword fight. Wondering about the outfit? Well those are our "pirate boots" of course.
It wasn't long before baby brother joined in.
So yeah, for now, I'm perfectly content with my little boys.

I totally agree with you about getting annoyed at people who think you have to have one of each gender. I love being a boy mom! Can't wait to have 2 little boys to love on!

Amen sister! Thanks for posting--I'm always thinking this and reassuring myself. Although having a girl would be fun/ sweet, fill in the blank...I think God has called us to these two boys and I'm perfectly content with my FULL hands of boys :)

Sometimes I think it would be easier to have 10 boys lol! Even though I wouldn't trade my hard headed handful of a daddy's girl..a mommy's boy would be nice to have lol!!

AGREED!! I love your litte boys so very much and you're the best mommy to them. AND you always know where you can go to play princess when you need to get away from the pirates :)
That works two ways right...i may need to come play pirate to get away from all the makeup and crowns!!!
