We had to wake the boys up on Easter Sunday (sleeping in on holidays is something my brother and I were notorious for). They were both so excited to see what the Easter bunny brought. Hayes didn't know where it came from but he was excited none the less. Then it was outside to hunt eggs. The Easter bunny hid them while I was asleep and wow did he hide a lot of them. The kids didn't even want to pick them all up there were so many...so we saved some for when Karlie came later. We went to church with both sets of grandparents and Gigi. Then my parents, Marci and the girls and Gigi came over for lunch. Price got some silly string and confetti eggs in his basket and he LOVED getting everyone with them. This was probably the highlight of his day. We all took our turns being smacked in the head with an egg and getting doused in goopy silly string! When Karlie got there the kids hunted some more eggs and enjoyed playing together. After naps we headed over to Lee's parent's house but that will be a separate post. There are already too many pictures in this post! I loved watching Price piece together the Easter story this year. He even asked if we could put a cross on our roof with some dirt around it so everyone would know about Jesus. So sweet. It was a great day and we truly celebrated the resurrection of our Savior.
