Running the Rock

On Sunday Lee ran his first full marathon.  That's right, 26.2 miles in weather that was 38 degrees and raining the entire time.  He ran the Dallas White Rock Marathon.  To say that I am proud of him would be a huge understatement.  It was such a nasty day and I didn't even want to stand outside, let alone run 26 miles.  But he did it and he finished in 4 hours and 23 minutes.  He was in the top 44% so not too bad for his first full.  As of right now he says it was the worst thing he has ever done but he's already talking about doing another one sometime.  Either way, I am so so amazed at my husband and his strength and endurance.
