On Saturday I passed the 30 week mark in this pregnancy. It's crazy that there are only 10 weeks (8 if she comes with Hayes did) left. I am definitely feeling the strains and pains of the 3rd trimester of a 3rd pregnancy. It's not easy to do the little things like put on my shoes or roll over in bed anymore. I still feel pretty good though and don't think I complain too much. My hormones have been crazy and I find myself getting angry a lot faster and acting a bit irrational at times. Lee loves this. :) I'm sure by the time March comes everyone will be ready for me to have this baby! We also got to do our 3D/4D ultrasound last week. Brighton was so active and let us get lots of good pictures of her. She's adorable and I'm already so in love. She moves all the time so it was fun to see her do it on the screen and share it with Lee, Becky and my mom.
After my last doctor's appointment Dr. Wang called to tell me that my numbers on my 3 hour glucose test were "a little abnormal". So she wants me to follow a diabetic diet. I haven't actually talked to her, this was all in the message she left me but that is what I have been doing. Every meal consists of counting my carbohydrates to make sure I don't eat too many. I also have cut out all desserts, sweets and Dr. Pepper. It's been a little over a week now and I'm really starting to get the hang of it. I still really miss eating without thinking about it. Dr. Pepper is certainly the thing I miss the most. But I'm willing to try my hardest since it's for the health of the baby. I could really do without having a 10 pounder, thank you! I go back to the doctor in 2 weeks and I'll talk to her more about it then. It's really not that big of a deal but I just wanted to have it documented. If you have dealt with this issue I would love to hear your feedback about it!
