It's hard to believe more than a month has gone by since this sweet girl entered our lives. It definitely goes faster with the 3rd baby. Brighton turned one month old on Thursday and celebrated by crying pretty much all day! Anyway, here are some things about her at 1 month old.
At her 2 week check up she weighed 7 lbs and 6 oz. She's over that now and her little body is starting to fill out.
She's in a size 1 diaper and newborn clothes.
She has reflux just like her brothers and was put on medicine at 2 weeks.
She is an excellent sleeper. Most nights she goes down about 9:30-10 and sleeps until about 3:30-4am. She wakes up, eats, goes back to sleep and sleeps until about 8:30am. She is usually a little more restless once she's gone back to sleep though.
She is a good eater and has started nursing faster.
She seems to be quite social and will not go to sleep when a lot is going on.
She went to church for the first time with us at almost 4 weeks old. She stayed with us in our Sunday school class and was awake the ENTIRE time. Thankfully some sweet friends held her the whole time.
She was very content to sit and watch the room around her when she was awake. Lately though, this has changed and she cries while she's awake unless she's being held. It makes getting anything done around the house incredibly hard.
She hates the car seat and cries most of the time she's in it.
Her belly button fell of at exactly 1 week and she's loved her baths ever since.
She's still sleeping in our room though we will probably move her to her own in a couple of weeks.
To say that her brother's love her would be an understatement. Her days are filled with them wanting to hold her, kiss her and give her hugs. It melts my heart every single time.
Here are a few more pictures from the month:
We've been experimenting with several different types of headbands and bows. Would one of you girl moms please tell me how to keep a headband on a baby that spends all her time laying down?!

She is such a blessing. Her brothers really do love her so much. As do her grandpa and I. The boys are so wonderful to.
What a precious family you have.
