1st Baby

We had a very exciting day today. One of our good friends works for the secret service and got our names on the list to see the President depart from the airport. Lee and I have been before but we wanted to get a picture with Price and Air Force One. It is always such a neat thing too. This time we were extra lucky. We ended up being in the right place at the right time. One of the head secret service guys thought we were with a different group of people so he kept letting us get closer and closer to the plane. Finally we realized were were actually going to get a tour of the plane. We showed our Id's and took off our shoes and stepped aboard Air Force One. It was such an incredible plane! It's HUGE. We got to see where President Bush and his family sleep, eat, have meetings and relax to watch one of the 18 TVs that are on board. It was so cool. It was nicer than my house! He sure knows how to fly in style. Finally we had to leave the plane and go wait for the President and Mrs. Bush to arrive. It was only then that the guy realized we weren't supposed to be with that group of people! Too funny, oh well, it worked out well for us. You are not allowed to take anything in with you into the plane so we only have pictures from outside. This will certainly be something we tell Price about when he grows up!
