The time has come for Price to say goodbye to his best friend. It's been with us since he was born but now they must part ways. On Sunday we started giving Price his beloved pacifier only at bed and nap times. He is doing really well with the adjustment with only a few whiny times the last couple of days. When we picked him up from MDO today his teacher said "he sure does talk a lot when he doesn't have that in his mouth! He says lots of different words." We thought that was funny and is the main reason we decided to get rid of it. He's old enough to be without it now. We'll probably go on like this for another month or two before we say goodbye for good. Here is a look back at Pricer and his paci:

I remember when my sister had to give up her paci. I think she was 2 and still super attached. She refused to give them up so we all had to "lose" any paci that we saw... we hid them under sofas, behind books, under cushions, in drawers that she couldn't reach. When we moved out of that house 8 years later, we found several of them! I'm sure you'll have faster luck with Price!
This blog is a little sad, Kristy. Makes me want to cry. BUT, I do understand. I know that Price will do well giving up his dear friend. Becky
aw that is the cutest post! sad and cute!
We are still waiting to give up our dear friend...we have been at naps and bedtime for a long time now. I dread the day we take it away for good. Let me know how it goes when you take Price's away. I'm telling myself January is the month it will happen for Latham.
