Yesterday Lee surprised me by taking me on a fun day in the Dallas area. His mom picked up Price in the morning and kept him all day/night. We had a great time, its been a really long time since we did anything like this with just the two of us. First, we went to Grapevine and to the Gaylord Texan hotel where they were having a show called Ice. It is exactly what the title says, its an entire exhibit made of ice. Santa's, houses, chairs, entire manger scenes carved out of ice. The place it is held is kept at 9 degrees so the ice won't melt. They even hand out parkas so you won't freeze while looking at it. It was really cool to see. My favorite part was the giant slide made of ice. You could actually slide down it. Here are some pictures from that:

After Ice, we went to see Twilight and walked around Grapevine Mills mall. Then we went to meet Michelle, Sean and K-Bear for dinner. It was SO good to see them. I really miss seeing my friends on a regular basis. After a delicious dinner at PF Changs we headed home. It was such a fun day and so good to get away for a little while. I missed my little man like crazy but I know he had a great time with Memaw and Pepaw.
By the way, this is my 400th blog post! I can't believe there have been that many. Thanks for sticking with me!!

cool! we were there a couple weekends ago but thought it would be too cold to take kinley in there.. i was right! lol thats so awesome tho!
that looks like so much fun. My fiance will be here next week maybe he and I should go because it has been way too long since he and I have done something just the 2 of us also.
