On Saturday Lee and I drove Price, Michelle, and Kayleigh to Kaska Family Farms in West, Texas. Our friend Emily followed us in her car and we met Jennifer and Brooke there. On the way we followed the GPS and it took us down this lovely mud road. Long story short, we got stuck in the mud and so did Emily. My sweet husband tried and tried to get us out but the mud was just too thick. I have to brag on him though because he kept a smile on his face the whole time. He was a real trooper! We ended up having to be pulled out by a tractor from the farm. It was an adventure, the picture below shows the tractor pulling us.
Once we FINALLY got there Price and Kayleigh were ready to go!
It ended up being a pretty cold nasty day and there was a lot of mud everywhere but we still had a good time. Lee and Price raced rubber ducks by pumping the water out with these pumps.
Then we went on a hayride. This was a big hit with all the kids.

All the kids on the hayride. (Gianna, Selah, Mason, Kayleigh, Aiden and Price)
They had this "corn box" with dry corn in it instead of sand. Price loved picking up all the corn and dropping it in the tubes.
"Hello in there!"
A small tractor pulled the cow ride. Price was all about it until it actually started. We could hear him screaming from beginning to end. Afterwards he kept saying "no like cows!"
Some of us decided to brave the muddy corn maze. It was an adventure, especially when all of our shoes were covered in mud. Emily's stroller wheels were completely covered. It was messy.

We went this weekend and the weather was gorgeous- give it another shot in pretty weather and it will be even better! fun place!!
I saw on their website that it now says not to use your GPS because people were getting stuck in the mud but to follow their map on the site- I didn't know that was because of you! Ha!
