1 Month Old

Almost a smile (click to enlarge)
Now that we are home and working towards getting better, we can focus on more fun things. Like the fact that my baby turned 1 month old yesterday. How can it be that it has already been a month? I guess when you spend almost 2 weeks of that time away from home and a routine it goes by faster than you realize. Anyway, here is some info on Hayes at 1 month:
Weight: About 9lbs
Height: 20 inches (obviously the 21 we got at 2 weeks was off!)

Likes: sitting in his bouncy seat, watching the Christmas lights, eating
Dislikes: Riding in the car, the swing, sleeping at night, gas, having his diaper changed
Undecided: pacifier, sleep, bottles

Hayes is a good eater, eating ever 2-3 hours but sometimes going as long as 4. He sleeps okay a night, he was doing a lot better before he got congested. He has started to be awake a lot more during the day but his most favorite time to be awake and making noise is between 9pm and 12am. Lots of fun for Mommy and Daddy. He has taken a bottle twice and done really well. The pacifier grows more on him everyday. We tried the Nuk one tonight and he can keep it in much better. He's a pretty good baby that has started to show a little of his personality. We can't wait to see what he's going to be like.

Yay for a healthy growing boy! I can't believe how quickly a month went by! I can't wait to see him again. The dislike of the swing and carseat seem to be classic for reflux babies. If you are going to travel a lot, they make an insert that helps position them to reduce reflux if you're interested. So proud of my handsome nephews!!!
