Update

It's hard to see but he is in there...this is his oxygen tent.

We just talked to the pediatrician from the hospital. He said that Hayes had a good night and looks much better than he did yesterday. He still needs oxygen though and needs to stay in the tent for at least another 24 hours. The doctor said that he is still working really hard to breathe so Hayes has to stop that before we can consider seeing how he does off the oxygen. He also said it is very common for babies to have good days and bad so just because he improved a lot yesterday doesn't mean today will be the same. He said he would expect us to be here the rest of the week. Not the best news but we will do what we have to to help him get better. He is eating pretty well but please pray that his appetite stays healthy and he begins to eat even more. Our family doctor is checking in with us a few times a day so I will post again when we talk to him this evening. He seems to think we could go home sooner. I guess we will see.
