On Monday we decided to change Price's bed into a toddler bed. It was totally a spur of the moment decision. I'm glad we did it for a nap the first time since it took him a little while to settle down. He was really excited! He has done great so far. He knows he is not allowed to get out of his bed without Mommy or Daddy being there and so far he hasn't tried. (I know it's just a matter of time!) He is still waking up several times a night calling for us. I feel like that is NEVER going to end! But at least, for now, he is staying in his bed while he does it. I just can't believe my baby boy is big enough to sleep in a big bed! It's so crazy and he is growing up too fast! Now we are working on making his room into a "big boy" room. I'll post pictures when we are finished!

We just had to stop going in when Kinley cried & even tho it was hard, she has quit doing it.
I made the mistake of rubbing her back and stuff when she 1st got into her toddler bed- and now she wants it every night. And if she wakes up during the night. So we are just letting her cry that out too! She did alot better last night tho.
oh yes we have ventured down this road recently too. he does pretty good and gets out but goes straight to our bedroom about 6 feet away and we just send him back and he's off to sleep again.
we are about to inherit a real toddler bed and put the crib in another room so he has time to transition before new baby arrives. maybe getting some fun new sheets would get him excited :) like thomas or toy story! we shall see--and i'm sure you'll see it on the blog! :)
