Sea World

The main reason we went to San Antonio was to visit Sea World. I have been wanting to take Price for a long time. He LOVES animals of all shapes and sizes so I knew this would be right up his alley...and I was right. He loved all of it and we had a really good day. I think it may be safe to say Price's aversion to people dressed in large costumes is over. He was very happy to see this cute penguin!
First stop was feeding the dolphins. This is always my favorite part! Price thought it was so cool!
I didn't realize until I looked at this picture on my computer that his hand is IN the dolphins mouth! Good thing dolphin teeth are rounded!
Then it was off to the penguin house. He thought it was funny that snow was falling from the ceiling onto the penguins.
Then it was time for the Shamu show. He wasn't all that impressed but sat through it all. To be honest I didn't think it was that great either!
Next, we ran into this guy!
After some lunch we went to see the sea lion, walrus and otter show. This was Price's favorite.

The star of the show.
We ended up catching one more show, visiting the dolphins, penguins and sharks again, then heading home. It was a long, HOT, and expensive day but we all had a good time. Price didn't even sleep in the car on the way home. It was so fun to take a trip with our "big kid" and see how big and independent he has gotten. I can't wait to do it again in a few years with Hayes too!
