Hayes' Big Boy Bed

My dad loves a challenge so when I asked him to make Hayes bunk beds he took it head on.  What he created went beyond my imagination and I have to say Hayes is in heaven.  My dad made him bunk beds with a slide, a Murphy bed on the bottom, a chalk board and stairs with cubbie holes.  What more could an almost 3 year old boy ask for?!  Hayes has done great sleeping in his bed.  Truthfully, we kept him in a crib this whole time because we just knew it would be a nightmare trying to keep him in a big bed.  So far (fingers crossed) he hasn't tried to get out one time without asking.  He also, as an added bonus, has been able to sleep without diapers in this bed.  I'm not sure what the correlation is there but once he switched beds he started waking up dry.  Hey, I'll take it!  Anyway, this bed is amazing and it's even better knowing that my dad poured his heart and soul into making something really special for Hayes.  Thank you so much Grandpa!!
Pay no attention to the girly blanket on the bottom bed!  Hayes sleeps on the top so we don't have bedding for the bottom!
The awesome slide...Price keeps saying he will sleep in here but he hasn't done it yet.
My super proud big boy!  he shows everyone that comes in his new bed.
When the bed is folded up.  Hayes has been practicing his H's in chalk.
