We dressed up and celebrated Halloween twice again this year. The first time was the Friday before Halloween for our church's fall festival. Price was Thor, Hayes was Buzz Lightyear and Brighton was an owl with a tutu. The boys had so much fun playing the games and running through the church like mad men. Brighton seemed to enjoy the people watching. The boys made a haul on the candy, Hayes mainly got suckers (his favorite) because when they would let him choose he would dig until he found one...always looking for an orange one.
When actual Halloween rolled around I had found some dragon costumes in the back of my closet that were hand-me-downs from some friends. Price was insistent on wearing it even though he is 5 years old and the costume is a 2T. He fit in the costume, it was just a little short. We went trick or treating (Brighton stayed home with the grandparents) around the block and the boys had a blast. They raked in the candy and loved running from house to house. Price's friend Mason, his sister, Hailey, and their parents came along with us and it was nice to be able to chat while the kids trick or treated. All in all it was a successful Halloween!
