Double digits? We can't be in double digits because that means my baby's first birthday is only 2 months away. Sigh. She's growing up so fast and is starting to turn into, in Lee's words, "a real little person." She's so precious and I thank God everyday that this little girl came in and wrapped all 4 of us around her finger. She only has to make the slightest sound and someone, usually one of the boys, is at her side to see what she needs. It would appear that she might be a little spoiled in that regard. Oh well though, we are loving every second of having this sweet girl in our family. Here is what she's up to at 10 months:
- Teeth: 4
- Stands up by herself all the time but seems to have no interest in stepping or walking
- She can sign "all done" and "more"
- She points with her fist instead of her index finger, just like Price used to do. :)
- She had her first antibiotic this month for a nasty sinus infection that left her feeling awful for several days after Christmas.
- She gives open mouth kisses and we all love them!
- She LOVES the men in our family and seems to always want to be held by Grandpa and Pepaw.
- Praise the Lord she is sleeping through the night. Usually 8-7ish
- She loves to "sing" in the car.
- She decided about 2 weeks ago that she wants nothing to do with baby food. Since she only has 4 teeth it's been a challenge to find foods she can eat. So far favorites include peas, black beans, raspberries and cereal bars.
- She loves to dance and clap.
- She wants to be where Price and Hayes are all the time and crawls all over the house to be with them.
- She has a knack for finding tiny things on the floor and putting them in her mouth...usually resulting in me swiping them out of her mouth and her crying.
- She loves Macie and tries to play with her.
- She's taken a lot more interest in toys this month and likes to sit and play.
- She is still incredibly sweet and happy. She loves to snuggle and kiss and be tickled.
