Disney Day 3

On Wednesday morning we headed to Hollywood studies for a full day.  We got there when the park opened and headed straight for the Toy Story ride.  We got fast passes to ride it later and went ahead and walked into the ride.  It is by far my favorite ride at Disney.  It's a 4D ride that is kind of like a carnival with all the Toy Story characters.  You have to pull a string on your gun to shoot various things at a screen.  In the end someone has the highest score.  When you hit certain things on the screen it will blow air in your face.  Of course Hayes hated the air!  After our first ride we went to wait in line to meet Buzz and Woody.  Price and Hayes both dressed up like Buzz and were pretty excited  to meet them.  Hayes kept saying "Is this the real Buzz Lightyear?"  We waited a while since the characters hadn't come out yet so we spent that time talking to some of the staff and asking questions about working at Disney.  Finally the time came for us to go in.  We were first in line so Woody came out to greet the boys and showed them to cover their eyes.  He took us all around the corner where Buzz was and the boys just lit up.  Hayes wanted me to hold him but I convinced him to take one pictures without me in it.  They were pretty starstruck and Buzz and Woody were so sweet to them.  It was one of my favorite moments since becoming a parent.  After our meet and greet we did the backlot tour where they show you kind of behind the scenes of how they make certain things happen in movies (big fire and explosion scenes).  Both boys loved this.  Then Hayes wanted to go play in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area again so I took him while Lee and Price rode Toy Story again.  Then Lee stayed with Hayes while I took Price on it again!  We also went to watch the Muppets 3D movie and the boys really liked that one.  We met Mike and Sully from Monsters, Inc, The Incredibles and 2 of the Wreck it Ralph characters.  Then headed over to our Disney Junior character lunch.  This was the most fun lunch we had.  The characters were so interactive and even did a little song and dance.  Since these are some of the ones we watch regularly on tv the boys were really into it.  After lunch we decided to take a bus to Animal Kingdom and eat some dessert at the Rainforest Cafe.  It took us a while to get there but the kids had fun and it was kind of nice to just sit down for a little while.  Then we went back to Epcot and we spent some more time just wondering through the park until it was time to go wait for Fantasmic to start.  It is the most amazing light, character and water show all rolled into one. It was truly memorizing.  The park closed right after it was over so we took 2 tired boys back to the hotel for bed. Side note:  most nights it amazed me how much energy the still had once we got back to the room.  They ran all the way to the room from the bus stop and then played pirates on their beds until we made them go to sleep!

My Buzz's waiting on the bus...Price was happy, just trying to be tough.
Woody telling them to cover their eyes before they could meet Buzz.
 Precious.
Sully and Mike..the person play Mike must be TINY
For having never seen Wreck it Ralph my kids were insanely excited to meet him.  Kudos to the Disney marketing department on that one.
 Love this!
 My Mickey head

 Special Agent Oso
 Jake!
We saw Lightening and Mater too...I'm surprised Hayes doesn't have his fingers in his ears because Lightening was revving his engine a lot!
