Brighton at 15 months

Sweet Brighton is just getting bigger and bigger, she's growing so fast!  We don't have her 15 month appointment until the beginning of July (busy summer) but I wanted to go ahead and update what she's doing now.

• Teeth: 11 (including 3 molars)
• She's a great sleeper, she usually sleeps from 7:30-7:00.  She cries out some in the night but I never need to go to her room.  She is slowly giving up her morning naps and will nap for about 2 hours in the afternoon.
• She has become somewhat attached to a stuffed green monkey.  It was in her room as a decoration, she wanted me to get it down one day and she's loved it ever since.  She sleeps with it too.
• We tried pigtails and a little front ponytail this month.  She cries a little when I am putting the rubber band in but doesn't seem to mind after that.  It's SO cute!
• She's still a little slow on the talking.  She says a hand full of words but mostly just screams for what she wants.  We are really trying to help her say more things.  The screaming is driving me nuts!
• She can run and walk backwards.
• She loves to spin circles and fall down dizzy.
• She loves to wear necklaces and since we are lacking in the girl dress-up department she wants me to put her bib on her like a necklace.  She'll walk around like this for hours.
• She still loves baths but hates having her diaper changed.
• She's not a great eater, she loves fruit but doesn't like much meat.
• She loves to give kisses and makes a "mwwwahhhh" sound when she does.
• She's starting to play with the boys (especially Hayes) a lot more.
• She's happy most of the time and happiest when she's outside. She does have a temper and will throw herself on the ground when she doesn't get her way.
• We love this little girl and what she's brought to our family.
