Last week the milestone that I hoped would never come was finally here. Price stared Kindergarten on Tuesday. He was a little nervous but has done great. They had a limo set out by the kindergarten wing with a red carpet for the kids to walk down. The parents thought it was cute, the kids looked confused! We walked him in and he put away his backpack and lunch box and sat at his desk. As we started to leave he looked at us like "are you really going to leave me here alone?". But he did great, the teacher sent me an email midway through the day saying he was having a great day and he is a sweetheart. Talk about earning brownie points with Mom! I did get teary several times throughout the day. It's just so hard letting them go for such a long period of time. So far we love his school and his teacher and even though getting him there in the mornings is a bit of a fight (he usually says he doesn't want to go) he is doing great. After 6 years home with my boy it has been an adjustment for all of us. I keep thinking I need to go get him in the middle of the day or I start counting heads and realize I'm missing one! For the most part though, we are all adjusting well. Here are some pics from his first big day!
