Halloween 2013

We had a very fun Halloween this year.  Hayes had a class party on the same day that I was able to be apart of.  It's so fun to see the kids in their own environment at school.  He also got out early so we got to have some fun together in the afternoon.  That evening we got all dressed up to trick or treat.  While Price and Hayes chose their costumes on their own (Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker), I was giving Brighton's for free from a friend (an e-wok).  It just so happened it went perfectly along with our theme.  They all looked SO cute even though the things on their heads, whether a mask, robe or hood, only lasted as long as pictures.  We walked around our neighborhood with the Taylor family.  It was a lot of fun.  Brighton caught on quickly to what she was supposed to do and looked for suckers in everyone's bags.  As we were almost finished Hayes kept telling me he was cold and his skin felt really hot.  He ended up going back early with Lee and had a fever.  He passed out on the couch shortly after getting home.  Bless him.  Price got to stay up late and help us hand out candy.  He loved it and made the kids say trick or treat when they came up.  It is becoming more and more obvious to me that he's growing up...and I hate it.  Anyway, all in all it was a fun night and Hayes recovered quickly.  The boys are already talking about what they will be next year!
