We always spend Christmas Eve with my side of the family. This year it was my mom's turn to host. Of course the kids are all excited to open presents. We had a great dinner of fajita's from La Fiesta then let the kids tear into their presents. My mom always reuses boxes so when Hayes opened a box to an inflatable mattress he was so excited, only to realize there was a toy inside. Three months later he is still talking about "his mattress". Funny kid. After the kids opened their presents and were busy playing, it was the adults turn. We always have such a good time watching each other open and seeing what everyone got. Once again, it was a very blessed Christmas and we got way more than we deserved. After everything was opened we celebrated with a cookie cake. Then we took the kids home to get ready for Santa's visit.
