2 Months Old!

Brighton turned 2 months old on the 5th.  I waited to do her update until she went to the doctor.  She's growing so much and is so fun to interact with now.  Lee and I constantly use "sweet" to describe her.  She's just the most laid back, easy baby we've ever had.  We adore her and so do her brothers.  We have all been so happy with how easily she has meshed with our family.  We just love this baby girl so much already!  Here are a few things she's up to at 2 months:

• Weight: 10 lbs 12 oz
• Height: 22 inches
• She sleeps from about 9:30pm- 3 or 4am, eats, then goes back to sleep until 8 or later.  This is probably my favorite thing about her!  She also takes a 3-4 hour nap in her bed every afternoon.
• She smiles and coos when we talk to her.  Price and Hayes love to try to get her to smile at them.  She may end up being a little quieter than the boys were.  She doesn't really demand my attention with her voice like I remember them doing. She also doesn't smile as easily as they did.  She makes you work for it a little bit.
• She loves to lay in her bed and watch her mobile.
• She takes bottles of pumped milk very easily and gets about 1 a week.
• She's still a great nurser.
• She very rarely cries hard except when she is in her car seat.  She really hates that thing!
• She uses a little squawking sound to let us know she's hungry or needs a diaper change.
• Unlike her brothers, she doesn't really take a pacifier.  Sometimes she will take one if she is extremely hungry or tired but she never uses one to fall asleep or just to suck on.
• Her head is getting a lot stronger but she's still wobbly.  We hardly ever do tummy time so I have no idea if she can roll!
• She took her first trip out of town this month (to Austin) and did SO great in the car.  She slept the entire time both ways.  Bless her!
• We are still dealing with reflux but her medicine helps a ton.  She also dealt with baby acne some this month.
• Her eyes are getting bluer everyday.

We love sweet Brighton so much and cannot believe it's already been 2 months.  I cannot wait to watch her grow and develop more of her little personality in the coming months.

 Hayes had to point out that HE is 2 years old!
