Hayes at 2 1/2

Note: he IS wearing underwear in the above picture!

Hayes is now a big 2.5 year old and tells everyone we meet about the .5.  He's very proud of that!  Here are some things that he's up to now.

• Weight: about 30 lbs
• Height: Not sure, going to have to measure him when he wakes up!
• He talks like crazy.  He loves to sing songs and says some really funny things.  Every day he asks "Mommy, do you know Robinson and Robin Hood?"  Meaning Swiss Family Robinson and Robin hood the kids movie.
• He loves movies and talks about the characters from them for a long time.  Some of his favorites are Cars and Madagascar right now.
• He can run, jump, and climb just as well as his brother and has no problem keeping up with him. 
• He is doing great on potty training.  He is tee-tee trained but still struggles with the other.  This is mostly due to the fact that he's still battling constipation.  (despite me doing everything I know of to help him along)
• He LOVES Price and Brighton and often hugs them.
• He loves Mommy more than anyone else right now and insists that I do EVERYTHING for him.  He always wants only me to read his books, dress him and bathe him.
• He's very social with people we know but can be shy around people we don't.
• Still a great sleeper, going to bed at 9pm and waking around 7:30am.  He also still takes a 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon.
• He's a great eater and loves fruit.  He usually cleans his plate when its stuff he likes.  He does not like casseroles or anything where the foods are mixed together.  He still loves milk more than anything but has had to give it up due to the above mentioned constipation.
• He loves music and will ask for certain songs in the car.
• He is quite the 2 year old in that he throws enormous fits and his favorite word is "no".  He also has to be told many times before he will actually do what I'm asking, in other words, he loves to test me to see if I mean what I'm saying!
• He's a really happy kid and constantly makes Lee and me laugh.
• We love this little guy so much and cant believe we are already half way through this year.  He will be 3 before we know it!
