A day at the lake

Sean and Michelle invited us to spend Memorial day evening on Sean's parents houseboat. It was my kids first time on a boat ever and they loved it. Brighton seemed indifferent about the whole thing and stayed in the air conditioned part the whole time. Price soaked it all up and Hayes, well Hayes just wanted his life jacket off most of the time. Even though the boat died in the middle of the lake where we sat idle for over an hour, everyone enjoyed themselves. Price and Lee went swimming and when we got back to the dock everyone went fishing and kayaking. Price apparently is the fish whisperer and caught 5 fish on his pole, went kayaking and came back just in time to help Lee reel in the 6th. It was crazy. We had a really fun day and I told Lee on the way home these are my favorite "memory making" kind of days.
