Going to the Chapel

This weekend was Jen and Glenn's wedding. It was beautiful. Jen looked like a princess in her dress and I must say her bridesmaids weren't too shabby either! We had such a great time. It all started on Friday when we all went to lunch and got our nails done. Then Lindsay came and joined us and we did some last minute things for the wedding, then went home to get dressed for the rehearsal. Everyone looked so pretty! We had a good time joking around and being goofy at the rehearsal, then we went to Ninfa's for some good food. Jen gave us our bridesmaids gifts and they totally rocked! The best by far was the book she got from Shutterfly.com that had pictures from all the college years and recent events with comments and friendship quotes. It was fantastic and I know we will all cherish them forever! Anyway, after the rehearsal dinner we went to Crickets and hung out for a while. Then we went to the hotel and all got ready for bed. Of course it took us forever to actually fall asleep. We had a great time together like always. The day of the wedding started pretty early. Jen was really prepared as always and had both the hair and make-up ladies come to the hotel. So we spent the morning getting hair and make-up done and eating pigs in a blanket! It was fantastic. After we were all done up it was time to go to the church. Once we got there we put Jen's dress on and started to take pictures. We did all the pictures before the wedding to save time afterwards. We had a really good time just being together. When we went outside to take some of the pictures I got bit by mosquitoes. I had three lovely huge bites on my back. My wonderful husband ran to the gas station and got me some itching medicine. Then we put a little make-up on the bumps and it was time to head down the aisle. There was a good crowd and the wedding was beautiful. We all teared up a little. After the wedding it was time to party. We went to the reception at the alumni center. They served delicious food and had the dr. pepper floats that they have at baylor's dr. pepper hour. It was so good! We decided to do a little dancing and we got lots of people involved. It was so much fun!! After throwing all the flutter fetti at the bride and groom it was time to go home. We had a fantastic weekend and were completely worn out. We did nothing but lay around after the wedding. But it was so much fun and I love my friends so much! I have been trying really hard to add a picture to this blog but it won't let me. So if you want to see pictures please go to my yahoo. (There's a link on the right side of this page)

Woo-hoo: I got a job today at Carol and Company!
Boo: I always hate to see my friends leave town.
