Our first night here was a good one. They took Hayes off of the oxygen at around 4am and he is still off of it now. This is encouraging news. Of course we have to remember that with RSV there are ups and downs. So this is a great moment but we have to be cautiously optimistic. There is always a chance that he will need to go back on it. That being said, this is a step in the right direction, since we have to be 24 hours oxygen free before we can even think about going home. He is completely off all medications now, no antibiotics, no saline, no oxygen so these are all good things. He is still on his acid reflux medicine but if he's anything like Price than he will be for a year or so. Just like before, we just wait for him to improve. He looks good and slept well last night. Lee and I were even able to get a little sleep on our little twin size couch! I keep telling Hayes that he needs to be home for his 1 month birthday. The doctor this morning said we will just see how today and tonight goes. Thank you again for all your prayers, messages, etc. We feel so loved and blessed even in the midst of all of this. I'll update again if anything happens today. Otherwise I'll let you all know what the doctor says tomorrow.
