This past weekend we headed to San Antonio for a quick trip with Price. Hayes wasn't feeling too good so he stayed here and was loved on by Memaw and Pepaw. (And Se World is not a place for babies so we wouldn't have taken him anyway!) We left on Friday and drove and drove and drove. When we were almost to the hotel we saw a sign for Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. We decided to make an unexpected stop. Price loved it and got to feed lots of different animals. It was definitely a fun detour.
This ostrich was really agressive. It kept sticking its head all the way into our car and pecking at things. It freaked me out. Then it came to my side where I had the window rolled up. I thought I was safe until the window started to roll down. As it stuck its head in and lunged at me I started screaming! I yelled for Lee to roll it up only to find Price hystierically laughing. The little booger had rolled it down himself!
Price keeps saying "We saw a llama...but he didn't spit."
They had a petting zoo with lots of goats and Price liked brushing them.
After this we headed to the hotel, got some dinner, did a little swimming and then Price actually asked to get into his tent bed. He laid down and we never heard from him again until after 8 the next morning!
