Brighton is 5 Months!

Once again, time is flying by and Brighton turned 5 months old on Sunday.  She is still such a sweet and happy baby.  Here are some things she is up to at 5 months:

• Clothes: 3-6 month
• Diapers: size 1
• She regressed a little in the sleep department this month.  I'm guessing she is ready for a little more to eat. 
• She takes a little cat nap in the morning, usually 15-20 minutes, then a long nap in the afternoon.  She's ready for bed by around 8:15pm.
• She has started to enjoy the car and rarely cries in it anymore.  (Hallelujah!)
• About a week ago we decided to unswaddle her.  She is doing pretty well but definitely wakes more than she used to.  She usually falls back to sleep with her pacifier.
• She puts anything she can get her hands on into her mouth.
• Still LOTS of smiles and coos and sometimes belly laughs.
• She love baths and could sit in the warm water all day.
• She's started really playing in the exersaucer.  She likes to grab the toys and put them in her mouth or flip pages on the plastic book.
• She has rolled from her back to her stomach once but I think it was an accident!
• She has had rice cereal twice and didn't seem to have strong feelings either way about it.  Other than that she's still being breastfed.
• She's working on sitting and can stay upright for a few seconds before falling over.
