Magic Kingdom

Our first full day at Disney World was at the Magic Kingdom.  We wanted the boys to really start the trip off with some magic and this is certainly the place to do it.  We got there before the park opened and got to watch the welcome train come in with the characters on it.  The boys were really excited.  Once the park opened we headed straight to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.  Since they love all things pirate this was great for them.  Once that was done we headed over to the area with the Peter Pan ride, Pooh, It's a Small world and the Carousel.  Peter pan was an immediate hit.  We rode it several times through out the week.  They also loved the Swiss Family Robinson tree house.  We climbed all the way through it twice.  Fast passes were really the way to go.  We could ride one ride and then walk right onto another one without waiting in line.  It was fantastic!  After riding lots of rides we headed to Price and Hayes' appointments at the Pirates League.  The were made over into pirates but I'm going to save that for its own post.  We thoroughly enjoyed our day at the park.  We saw lots of characters along the way.  Hayes was a little reluctant to go up to them without me and Lee.  When Price chose to go alone Hayes would generally stay back in the stroller. We caught the wishes parade, rode some more rides and then went to our dinner with Pooh and friends.  After dinner I saved our spots (in the rain) for the electrical parade while Lee took the boys on the Buzz Lightyear ride for probably the 3rd time that day.  We watched the parade, followed by the most amazing show that was projected onto the castle, then the fireworks.   We did all this without a nap.  Everyone was very tired by the time we got back to the room but the boys still had time to sword fight.  It was a great day and we all slept VERY well that night! Side note, with there only being 2 double beds in the room, I slept with Hayes and Lee slept with Price.  We were quickly reminded of why everyone has their own beds at home.  These boys can kick and turn all the way around in the beds in their sleep!  :)  ( I really did try to limit the number of pictures in my post but it's just so hard!  I love them all!)
Matching shirts that Hayes threw a fit about wearing.  (He only wears super heroes)
Blurry family pic on the bus
 Watching the opening ceremonies
The very first people in line for the pirates of the Caribbean.
Chip and Dale, our first character experience.
 Hayes on the Pooh ride
The boys loved the carousel and so did we!
 Goofy!
 Donald!
They loved the Dumbo ride because they controlled if we went up or down.
I have wanted one of these balloons since I was a kid.  Lee (and Disney) made my dream come true.
Outside the Buzz Lightyear ride that we probably rode about 15 times throughout the week.
Me and Hayes (aka eyebrows) waiting to meet Buzz
Hayes' young life is now complete...he met his hero. They asked Buzz to open his wings but his helper quickly told them this was a no fly zone and he couldn't!  Cute!
At dinner a groucy Hayes insisted on cutting his food with his sword.  Daddy helped.
 Piglet
Hayes wouldn't go see him so he came to see Hayes!
Eeyore!  His tail is even nailed on.
 Price favorite by far!!
Two very tired boys in front of the castle before the parade.

Such a sweet day with so many  memories.
