Hayes' first field trip

Last week Hayes had his first field trip with his class. We went to the zoo. All the other kids seemed to have a great time. Hayes clung to me and cried a vast majority of the day. I still have no idea why. I think being with his teachers and me at the same time was overwhelming for him. I'm really hoping he does better on the next one. He looked super cute with his little friends though. I love this kid and how he is going to do what he is feeling no matter what else is going on. He's passionate. I just hope he channels that passion into something great one day!
